99 Metres — A Warship Made a Yacht, Rebuilt to Passenger-Vessel Standard
325 ft (99.13 m) · Canadian Vickers 1943 · Rebuilt 1999–2001 · ABS A1 Passenger Vessel · 1,802 GT
Grand volumes at 99 m — 424 m² of interior rooms and 300 m² of exterior deck, laid out to a scale that modern yards no longer build.
Certified passenger vessel under SOLAS, Load Line and MARPOL — she can carry and entertain numbers no private yacht is allowed to.
34/36 guests cruising in 17 staterooms, including the Onassis Suite, with 40 crew in 18 cabins to run her properly.
Essentially new steel in 2001 — new hull plating, new MAN B&W main engines, new systems, with the original Pinnau lines and interiors preserved above.
The first great conversion of them all. Everything Xplorer does to commercial hulls today was done here first, in 1954 — and again, properly, at the end of the century.
Operational today, in charter service, with a full crew and a long repeat clientele.
The Yacht Channel · Christina O — the first conversion of them all
Built as the Royal Canadian Navy frigate Stormont in 1943, bought by Aristotle Onassis in 1954 and converted by Cäsar Pinnau, then taken apart and rebuilt between 1999 and 2001 — new hull steel, new machinery, new systems, original character.
She is not a project. She is a working, certified, fully crewed ship with an owner-standard interior and a charter book. In outline:
Event capacity beyond the cruising complement is subject to flag, LSA provision and port approval; particulars on request.
Detailed specifications, the general arrangement, pricing and the complete gallery are released to registered principals. Register your brief — it goes straight to Paul M. Madden.
