Expertise
Five disciplines under one principal.
Every service we offer is built on the same standard: independent advocacy for the principal, contractual rigour with the yard, and the willingness to walk away from a deal that does not serve the client.

Brokerage
01
Acquisition and sale of expedition and superyachts on the global brokerage market. We work both sides — representing buyers in private negotiations on listed vessels, and accepting central listings where we believe the seller has priced realistically and is ready to transact. We do not list vessels we cannot defend on a survey table.
-
Buyer representation — listed and off-market vessels
-
Central listings — a small portfolio, transparently priced
-
Negotiation strategy informed by hundreds of comparable transactions
-
Pre-purchase technical attendance with our network of class surveyors

Commercial to Expedition Conversions
02
We have spent two decades guiding UHNW principals through the conversion of commercial and government vessels into ocean-going expedition yachts. The work is technical, contractual, and unforgiving — done well, it delivers a vessel at twelve to fifteen percent of new-build replacement cost, with engineering pedigree no production yacht can match.
-
Platform sourcing — OSVs, research vessels, ice-class hulls, government tonnage
-
Conversion design — in collaboration with Grant Maughan, Greg Marshall, Boris Kiriloff, and other invited studios
-
Yard tender, build supervision, class engagement, sea trials, and delivery

New Build - Owner's Rep
03
On a clean-sheet new build, our role is to represent the owner end-to-end: yard selection, contract negotiation, specification development, in-yard supervision, and delivery. Paul’s background was built representing Europe’s most demanding shipyards. That perspective — knowing how a yard reads a contract, where the variation orders come from, and what the project manager is not telling you — is what we bring to the owner’s side of the table.

WindVoyage
04
Through the WindVoyage joint venture with VPLP Design and Norse Shipyard, we deliver 80- to 120-metre wind-powered expedition yachts — the first superyacht-class vessels engineered around VPLP wing-sail propulsion. WindVoyage is the new-build arm; Xplorer is the broker and owner’s representative on each project.
