The 30.8 m Motor Vessel ALK (ex: Alkor) was built in 1965 in Germany as aresearch ship for renowned German research institute GEOMAR. ALK loggedan impressive 326,000 Nm roaming the Baltic Sea and North Sea, until she was replaced by a larger research vessel.
